Ukraine is rich in castles, but unfortunately not so rich to keep them all in good condition. Nevertheless, the work in this direction is underway, there are quite a lot of locks, which will please any traveler.

10. Zbarazh Castle

The castle was built brothers princes from Zbarazh, who studied from Galileo Galilei. Two famous cossacks, Ivan Bohun and Nestor Morozenko, died during the battle near the walls of the fortress. These events were further described in the famous novel "With Fire and Sword".

9. Castle-Palace of the Count Schoenborn

This palace is unique in its kind. There are exactly 365 windows, 52 rooms, and 12 doors. An architect was likely to be addicted to numbers and calendars. In front of the castle there is a pond, the form of which resembles the borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at that time.
