San Remo is a classic Italian resort, which is considered to be the most luxurious on the Ligurian coast of Italy. The heyday of the resort came in the 19th century, when the cream of European society rested here. The city has many beaches, walking streets, long promenade. If you are traveling across Italy, then you can stay here for a few days and visit Genoa , Monaco and Nice.

bike path . We found it only during our visit as there's almost no information about it in the Internet. Prior to 2001, there was a single-track railroad along the sea. In 2008, a bike path appeared in its place, which currently has a length of 24 kilometers from San Remo to San Lorenzo Al Mare. In the future it will be longer, up to 60 kilometers. Of all the bike paths that we have seen, Сycling Riviera is the most advanced. Here you can see surveillance cameras, special SOS phones, benches and rest areas, fountains with drinking water and more. There are also several tunnels. You can rent a bike on the waterfront in San Remo. We rode about 28 km (both ways) and enjoyed the ride.
