There are several villages with this name in Ukraine, so, if you go by car, learn the map first. This village is not far from Krasnokutsk in the Kharkiv Region. Previously, the village was called Nataliyivka. The estate of that name was founded by a sugar magnate Ivan Kharytonenko in 1884. His son Pavel Kharytonenko finished the work.
The estate hasn't been preserved until our time, only some parts remained. They are located in the "Nataliyivskyi" park, which is now owned by a regional tuberculosis sanatorium.
The main and most beautiful building in the park is the Transfiguration Church. Kharytonenko planned to keep there his collection of icons. After the revolution in 1917, all valuables from Nataliyivka were taken to various museums, mostly to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
Here was also a famous horse farm, but now only abandoned buildings left.
Getting there: By car or in an organized tour. Go from Kharkiv to Bogodukhiv, after Bogodukhiv turn left and then left again in the direction of the Murafa village.
