Krasnokutsk Arboretum

The Krasnokutsk Arboretum is one of the oldest dendrological parks in Ukraine: it's more than 200 years old. Presumably, it was founded in 1793 by Ivan Karazin, brother of the founder of Kharkiv University.

For a long time the park was abandoned and began to revive only in 1957. Try to find different fabulous characters from the Russian fairy tales that are hidden throughout the park.

Getting there: By minibus from the bus station near the Tsentralnyi Rynok (Central Market) metro station in Kharkiv. The last bus from Krasnokutsk to Kharkiv leaves at 3-45 pm.
