In 2015, National Geographic released the book "Destinations of a Lifetime" (amazon ), which included 225 places you must visit before you die. On the cover of this book is the mountain guest house Aescher.

There are a lot of walking routes from the top station of the cable car (information ). Many tourists do not even use the cable car and just walk here on foot. We went along the route number 1, down to the guest house. The path will pass partly through the caves. The Rock Church was founded here in 1621.
