Nuwara Eliya is a resort located at an altitude of 1884 meters. It was created by the British in colonial times. They used to come here in April, when it was too hot in Colombo. Here are villas, beautiful parks, lake, golf course, and racetrack. It's really much colder here than near the ocean. We stayed in an old colonial hotel and were not able to stay in a room without a heater. From December to April, daytime temperatures are up to +21 and +10 at night. From September to December, the daytime temperature is not above +15. During the rest time of the year the average temperature is about +15-18.Horton plateau .

Impressions : ------------ 1 - No point in visiting 2 - Boring, wasted time 3 - You can visit, if you have a lot of free time and nothing better to do 4 - A lot of things, but not so interesting 5 - It seems to be interesting, but hard way to spoil the impression 6 - There is something interesting, but the rest is not worth the attention 7 - Probably interesting, but for everybody 8 - Very cool, but difficult to see everything and long-distance trails 9 - Very cool, but there are similar facilities in other locations 10 - Very cool, this is not anywhere else
