We're talking about several residential neighborhoods within the Zuidas district: Mahler (2002 - 2009), Gershwin (2009 - 2020) and Ravel (2021+). Here you can find a map of all neighborhoods.
The last two are the most interesting because they contain some of the most unusual and interesting architecture in Amsterdam. The Ravel neighborhood is still under construction, a series of 100+ meter tall residential buildings is expected, so we'll definitely be back here.
Apartmements here are very expensive, for example, the price per square meter in this red house (The George) and neighboring houses - 9000-11500 euros (2022).
And that's for apartments on the lowest floor. If the apartments are on the upper floors, their prices are often not even posted on the Internet, since the sale is only through an auction.
Amsterdam's most unusual house for 2022, Valley, located in the Ravel neighborhood, but at the time of our visit it was still under construction. Now it is ready, you can see pictures here or on the official website https://www.valley.nl/. Almost all of its apartments will be for rent.
The only shopping and entertainment center in Amsterdam, Gelderlandplein, is a stone's throw away.
The area has an excellent English-language website: https://zuidas.nl/en/.
Getting there: The nearest metro is Amsterdam Zuid.
