On one island there are administrative and agricultural buildings, on another - a residential castle. During the last three hundred years the castle belongs to the Merveldt family. In 1741 were built towers, that still preserved. In the 18th century, the main buildings were rebuilt.
The castle was badly damaged by the bombing during the Second World War, and then was devastated by Allied forces. In 1954, the owners restored the castle and opened it to the public. Now this is a perfectly preserved example of Baroque style.
Entrance to the territory of the castle and park is paid. Check opening hours on the official website.
