Fireworks Festival in Hannover

For more than 20 years international annual fireworks festival is held from May to September in the Large Garden of the Hannover Royal Gardens. Pyrotechnics teams from 5 different countries take part in the festival. Each performance lasts 25 minutes and is judged.

At this time we have not been able to buy tickets on the spot, because they were all sold out. Keep this in mind and buy tickets in advance online at website of Hannover.

Around the gardens are located thousands of people, so it's not easy to find the free place. We were lucky and found a gorgeous location, near the lake. Definitely, this is the best place outside of the gardens. Moreover, there is almost no one was there, only 3-5 spectators.

Getting there: By tram #1 or #2 from Hannover railway station to the Kröpcke station, then by tram #4 or #5 to the Herrenhäuser Gärten station. You can either order the tickets through the Internet or buy them on the spot; there are no allocated seats anyway. You can also watch the fireworks for free over the fence.
