Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen in Hannover are made up of several different gardens: Large Garden, Berggarden, Georgengarden and Welfengarden. We visited the Large Garden which has always been one of the most distinguished baroque formal gardens of Europe. It was created by Princess Sophia of Hannover from 1696 to 1714.
