We were interested in the castle primarily as a filming location for Game of Thrones (S07E03 and S07E04). As in some other places in Spain, photographs with scenes from the series have been installed here.

Getting there: parking is located at 37.809806, -5.024861, but please note that it has limited opening hours. If you arrive close to closing time of the castle, check the parking hours, otherwise the gates may be closed. We also saw tourists driving their cars right up to the castle. I don't know if it's possible to drive up there, but we parked at the bottom.
