Oulanka National Park

National park with beutiful nature in the north of Finland. The attractions here are hiking trails along the Oulanka River, high rocky shores, waterfalls and a beautiful forest.


We arrived at the modern tourist center, it is located in the very center of the park. There you can eat and get information. Several hiking trails start from here. I can’t say that we went far, but we reached the Kiutaköngäs waterfall and saw several wild deer.

Getting there: Parking N 66 22.109 E 29 18.810. In 2019, the last, 15-kilometer stretch, was unpaved and very broken.
