Khutir Nadiya is a state museum of Ivan Tobilevych (Ivan Karpenko-Karyi), a famous Ukrainian drama writer. Here his home estate of XIX-XX centuries is located, where he wrote 10 important dramas and comedies. Khutir Nadiya is considered a cradle of Ukrainian theater. The museum displays thousands of items, which were presented by the Tobilevych and Tarkovsky families. The name of this place is dedicated to the first wife of Ivan Tobilevych, Nadiya Tarkovska.
The house and museum are located in the park nead the pond, the place is beautiful. The park has an interesting oak grove. Each oak is either planted by someone well-known in Ukraine or dedicated to someone.
Getting there: The museum is located in the village of Mykolayivka 20 km from Kirovohrad. There are several buses from the Kirovohrad bus station #2 (timetable in Ukrainian).
