One of the most beautiful and unusual places in Ukraine is located in Klevan. This is a natural wonder called Tunnel of Love. In Soviet time a military base with railway line used to be here. Trees were planted around the railway to hide it. But in recent years the trees and bushes were no longer cut off, so they formed a natural tunnel over the railway. The total length of the tunnel is about 4 kilometers.
Having watched the beautiful pictures in the Internet, we definetely wanted to visit it. Surprisingly, the tunnel looks exactly like on the pictures. Usually, the reality is much worse than after Photoshop. However, you need to choose the right time of year. We were in May, see the pictures below.
But the pictures cannot tell you about one problem - mosquitoes. Be sure to take some protection. We always wondered how the newlyweds manage to look so happy in the tunnel with such amount of mosquitoes :)

In Klevan, you can also visit the ruins of the Castle of Czartoryski with a beautiful bridge. As for the ruins, they are not very interesting and look like an ordinary abandoned house.
Getting there: By minibus Rivne - Lutsk to Klevan, then walk. Klevan is a fairly large town, so walking distance will depend on where the bus stops. It can be 3 kilometers or even 7. It's not easy to find the tunnel, we asked the locals for directions, you can do the same. In Ukrainian it's "tunnel kohannya", in Russian "tunnel lyubvi".
