Santueri castle

Dilapidated cliff castle on the island of Mallorca. The surviving walls date back to the 14th century, although the Moorish (Arab) fortification existed here long time before.


Inside, the castle was well equipped for long-term attacks. The territory was suitable for farming and cattle breeding, animals moved the mills, six tanks and a well provided defenders with water.


In addition to historical interest, the rock is also an excellent observation deck, which offers view of the whole island.
