The zoo was founded in 1989 and has been growing ever since. In 2008, the elephant house was opened, where the first elephant Dune moved from the German Serengeti Park. Now the elephant population has grown considerably.
In addition to regular visits you can book so-called "experiences", private tours with different animals.
There is only one hippopotamus on the photo here, but there are dozen of them.
