A visit is associated with certain difficulties. The road is quite narrow, although very picturesque, and in the high season is crowded with cars and buses.
Buses go down in the morning and up in the afternoon. Therefore, it is better to fall into the same stream with them, or to go earlier or later.
And the parking is quite small. Even in winter, it was 30 percent full.
On the way you can see beautiful views from the Mirador Coll de Reis viewpoint (N 39 49.927 E 2 48.975).
The final destination is called Torrent de Pareis, a deep gorge and a small sand and pebble beach. In summer, the place is very popular and hundreds of tourists relax here. We were at the end of December and it was almost empty, but the sun did not rise due to the high cliffs of the gorge.
Here is how the beach looks in sunny weather, this is a shot from the movie "Cloud Atlas" (2012).
Sa Calobra Bay
There is no infrastructure on the beach itself, but before entering the tunnels there is information, a toilet, changing cabins and a charging station.
Getting there: Parking N 39 50.871 E 2 47.923. In summer bus 355 from Can Picafort, Port d'Alcúdia, Port de Pollença (map and schedule).
