Tambomachay and Puca Pucara

Tambomachay and Puka Pucara are Inca ruins which are located close to each other. They are not particularly picturesque and interesting, but their location is very conveniently, so they are visited by tourists.

Tambomachay is a garden, baths and a spa where rested the Great Inca.

Puka Pucara is a military fortress.






Getting there: Tambomachay and Puca Pucara are located on the road Cusco - Pisac. Buses Cusco - Pisac run from the street Av. Tullumayo 207 ($1), collectivo minibuses run from the Puputi street ($1.5).
