Dalsnibba is a mountain near Geiranger, which offers spectacular views from 1,500 meters. It's not the highest mountain in Norway, but the most known one, as there's a road that leads to the top, and the mountain is quite popular among tourists. Even in summer the mountain is covered with snow, and we didn't miss this opportunity.
A pedestrian and bicycle marathon from Geiranger to the top of the mountain is held annually. Route and information can be found at this website.
Getting there: Parking N 62 02.927 E 7 16.184. Entry through the automatic barrier, payment in the machine. The nearest town is Geiranger. There are bus tours from there, the ticket price is $45. For information and reservations visit this website.
