Zanjic is a beautiful pebble beach on the Lustica peninsula, surrounded by olive groves. The beach is pretty loaded during the high season, despite the difficult access. Admission is free, but if you don't want to pay for a sunbed (6-8 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella), there's not too much free space.
We came to the beach to visit the Mamula Island and the Blue Cave that are nearby. The boat trip from Zanjic costs about 5 euros per person. But at 5 pm, when we arrived, the boats have already finished working. Next day we rented the boat in Herceg Novi and had to overpay (80 euros for boat). But we had an individul trip to the cave and the island.
Getting there: There are boats from Herceg Novi in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm. The price is 5 euros, and you can pay 3 euros additionally for a trip to the Blue Cave. In the evening, from 5 to 8 pm the boats take tourists back. Big ships from Budva also stop on the beach. We drove by car from Budva. Be VERY careful and watch out for wooden pointers, as it's pretty easy to get lost on the peninsula. The GPS didn't help us :)
