A small historical village in Tuscany. It seems to be a touristy place, but the parking lot is quite small, and we didn't see any other tourists. Though there is only one street here, we were satisfied with the walk.

The village is surrounded by fortress walls, which is surprising to me, I can't imagine who wanted to conquer it. But, as it turned out, that village stood on the border of the Republic of Siena, the first war took place here in 1229, and it was attacked by the army of Montepulciano, which is in... five kilometers.

At the end of the village there are medieval walls, gate and a church (1609). Here you can have a picnic or just relax.
