Picturesque views from the top of Mount Ruju

If you are in Golfo Aranci and have saved some energy, you can try to climb Mount Ruju, which offers fabulous views of the Sardinian coast.

The track starts from the parking lot 40.998773, 9.624831, it will take about an hour to climb. The railway station of Golfo Aranci also visible on the map.


The trail was not marked in any way, there was only one signpost, at a crossroads.


In the final section, the trail is almost indistinguishable and there is a section with quite a steep ascent, so good shoes are required. Perhaps there is an easier ascent, but we didn't look for it and just climbed the slope.




The views from the top are great and well worth the climb.
