The two main attractions are the Abbey of St. Magnus (IX-XVIII centuries) and the Castle of the Bishops (XVI-XIX centuries). The castle is on a hill and the monastery is right in the middle of the old town.
Traditionally for Bavaria, many houses are painted.
The old town is small, it's easy to walk around.
Next we went for a walk along the promenade.
On one side we reached Lechsteg bridge (47.566201, 10.709023), with a good view of the city and the mountains.
On the other side to the Lechfall waterfall (47.561866, 10.694802). In fact, this is not a waterfall, but a dam built in 1784 - 1787. Despite the fact that initially this place was created for technical purposes, it began to attract tourists. In 1895, a pedestrian bridge was built over the dam, which still offers picturesque views.
Getting there: parking 47.567544, 10.694527. There is a railway station Füssen.
