Paernu

The main Baltic resort in Estonia. Due to its location and the presence of beaches, the first boarding houses started to be built here as early as 1838.

The town is standard, very similar to Baltic resorts in other countries, including Germany. This is not surprising, despite the fact that Pärnu became a resort during the long occupation by the Russian Empire, it was founded by the Germans of the Teutonic Order.

There is a full range of resort activities: beaches, promenades, hotels, restaurants, walking streets with structures, even from the Middle Ages, a zoo, and traditional wooden villas.
