Tereble-Ritska Hydroelectric Power Station (HPS) is one of a kind: it is the only HPS that stands on the two rivers: Tereblya and Rika. Nature created a place where two rivers run in parallel and close to each other, but the difference in altitude is about 200 meters. As a result, the water from the reservoir formed on the top falls down from a great height and generates electricity.
Despite 50 years of age, the HPS still works, supplying power not only to Ukrainian consumers, but also to the neighboring countries. It should be noted that the HPS is located in a very picturesque place. We were there with an organized tour, there is no entrance for individual tourists.

Getting there: The HPS is located on the road between Khust and Mizhgirja. The distance from any of the villages is 25-30 km.
