Kitzbühel is considered one of the best place for a ski vacation in Austria. We traveled there in the summer. It's a great place to stay in a hotel for 3-4 days and visit a lot of interesting places in the area. We chose the Lisi Family Hotel ({{194}}), it's expensive, though if you travel by car, with children, then take it without hesitation, it is the best that we found in the region (all-inclusive option is available).
The town is very clean and well-maintained, I would even say "polished", which is not surprising, given the status of a leading resort. The center is small, you can get around it in a couple of hours.

By the way, we were surprised to learn that Haddaway, one of the most popular Eurodance singers of the 90s, lives in Kitzbühel.
