Rasti-Land Amusement Park

A popular family amusement park for children and adults. It opened on 22 July 1973 in a former gravel pit (Kiesgrube) and initially had only four attractions. The park gradually expanded and now covers an area of 16 hectares.

The park is not as large as Heide Park or other huge parks and is suitable even for children aged 4-5 years. Some of the attractions can be visited with younger children, but I recommend coming with children aged 4 years and older, or even better, 5 years and older. For younger children, there are other parks, such as Karls Erlebnis-Dorf. The official website has a list of all attractions with minimum age or height requirements.

Many attractions involve water, and you may get wet on some of them, so this park is ideal for the warmer months.

Be sure to check the days and hours of operation on the official website. As in other places in Germany, you should arrive as early as possible. Popular attractions, such as Wildwasserbahn, can have quite long queues, so it makes sense to visit them in the morning.


















































Getting there: drive through the narrow tunnel 52.096917, 9.664861. The park entrance is here 52.098500, 9.660028. If you arrive early in the morning, you can turn right as close to the entrance as possible. If the car park on the right is already full, there is a large car park on the left.
