Karls Adventure Village Loxstedt (Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Loxstedt)

The Karls entertainment farm chain has been in existence since 1921. Long ago, it was an ordinary strawberry farm, but gradually it turned into an entertainment centre with educational and entertainment programmes. There are now about a dozen such farms, and the chain is expanding. The amusement park in Loxstedt near Bremerhaven opened in 2025 and has already become a very popular destination in northern Germany.


Admission is free, parking is free, which is a very important detail. This is probably why Karls farms are so popular. You can bring your children and play on the playgrounds, ride the high slides, or even go inside a toilet. The park is mainly designed for small children, and our 5-year-old daughter loved it.












If you bring wooden balls with you, you can play with them. Or you can buy a ball from a vending machine.


You can also feed the animals.


Climb onto a huge inflatable pyramid or ‘bathe’ in corn.


I would like to remind you that all of this is absolutely free, and that's not all of the free attractions.

The best time to arrive is between 9 and 10 a.m. to have breakfast. The restaurant here is inexpensive and good. There is a covered playground near the restaurant. By the way, the park opens at 8 a.m., so you can arrive earlier.


Paid attractions open at 10 a.m. You can buy tickets for each attraction, which is what we did, or you can buy a day pass.








In addition to the restaurant, there is a large shop selling farm produce in the large covered building.

Getting there: parking 53.484639, 8.608528. Important! This place is very popular. When we arrived at 9:00 a.m., there were only a few people, but when we left at 12:30 p.m., there was a 2 km queue of cars.
