Compared to the Serengeti or Ngorongoro, the park loses out. We were on safari for about 4 hours and I can't say that we saw many interesting animal scenes. There are definitely animals here and a lot of them, but to see something really interesting, you need to spend the night in the park and go on safari in the morning and evening. Most tourists stop here just on their way to more famous parks.
Like in other parks, hundreds of cars first gather in front of the gate where there is a restroom and a small kiosk with drinks and snacks.
At first we saw zebras and gnu, photographed a lot, not knowing that we would see thousands of them in Ngorongoro.
Cheetahs
Then we saw an interesting scene, a lioness tried to catch someone near the lake, but the elephant drove her away. The disgruntled lioness continued to watch the potential meal from the bushes.
There are a lot of elephants in Tarangire. We were lucky and a big elephant family slowly passed 5 meters away from our car. Only one photo, as we mostly took video.
Lunch place. The guide told us that sometimes he comes here early in the morning and there are lions or other predators on the tables.

A bridge is being built because in spring the water rises several meters and many parts of the park are inaccessible.
