Another unique house by architect César Manrique, built directly into the rock, in a natural setting. LagOmar was originally built for British Sam Benady. The aim of the architects was to create a mix of nature, mythology and Arabic flavor. And they did it very well. When the Egyptian actor Omar Sharif came to Lanzarote in the early 1970s to shoot the movie "The Mysterious Island", he fell in love with this construction project and bought the house.
