Gaisberg Mountain is a nice viewpoint at an altitude of 1288 meters and a popular place among paragliders. Salzburg residents climbed here on day trips back in the 18th century. Now you can easily get here by car, sit on a slope and see beautiful landscapes. There is a walking trail around the top.

At the very top is the Gaisberg Transmitter antenna - the country's first large antenna built after the war. Here is also the Austrian Lightning Research Station.
