In the village of Obroshino located arboretum with a palace where rested catholic archbishops of Lviv. It was built in 1730. The park around the palace appeared in the late 18th century and has been preserved until now. In the early 20th century the palace had original original decor and furniture, but since 1915 the Russian, German, Austrian and Turkish military took everything that was possible.
The figures on the main gate are looked into the courtyard, that's unusual.
The rear of the palace, which greets visitors, is restored, but the front part, which is much more elegant, unfortunately not.
Curiously, on the south side of the park there is a small zoo, founded in the 60s of the last century. It is very unusual for the village. Nevertheless, animals have quite a lot of the place and they breed regularly here which means it is convenient place. There are different birds, plenty of Far Eastern spotted deer and Cameroonian sheep. The zoo is open from April to October on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 18. Deer and some other animals can be seen always, they walk in the open area.
Getting there: On minibus in the direction of Sambir from the train station in Lviv which passes through the village Obroshino. The park entrance is on the Hrushevsky street through the institut.
