We visited Yazlivets to see the castle ruins and a monastery located nearby. The castle is located in a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Like most other castles of the Ternopil region, this one is in a poor condition. The only thing that is worth paying attention to are the portals.
Nearby is the so-called Lower Palace. This is a more modern building that is now being reconstructed. A monastery is located there.
There is a park behind the monastery, on the other end of which is a crypt of sister nuns. The nuns of the monastery were buried inside, and some of these burials are 150 years old. The crypt is in excellent condition, but it's usually closed. You can try to ask the nuns to open it.
Getting there: By bus from Ternopil (at 1:10 pm) or by minibus from Buchach.
