Potocki Palace is the most interesting tourist attraction in Tulchyn. But first we walked along the main street and found some interesting objects.
The palace is located at the entrance to the town if you come from Vinnytsia. It was built in 1782 by French architect Lacroix. The entire complex of buildings is very "photogenic".
In 2009, the left gallery connecting the main building with a side housing was dismantled for restoration. As you can see on today's photos, the reconstruction didn't move forward. Moreover, some beautiful parts disappeared from the side buildings. The restoration began in 1975! Looks like the government is not in a hurry :)
Previously there was a park behind the palace, but it has almost disappeared. The palace now hosts the school of culture, and on weekends it is used as a venue for weddings.
Getting there: By bus from the Vinnytsia bus station. The Tulchyn direction is very popular, the buses leave every hour. You can return to Vinnytsia from the bus stop near the gates of the palace. The road to Tulchyn from Vinnytsia goes through Voronovytsya, Nemyriv and Bratslav.
