There is also a castle in Berezhany, however, it's in very bad condition. Was built in 1534-1554 by polish magnate Nikolai Sinyavsky. In the 17th century, it has participated in many battles. Subsequent owners of the castle: Czartoryski (from 1726), Lubomirski (from 1778), Potocki (from 1816) did not care about it and used as a warehouse, and even as a brewery. In the past 100 years, the castle stands in a very poor condition, the walls and towers are constantly being destroyed.
There is a small exhibition inside the rooms of the castle.
Dungeon
In 2006-2008 restoration works were carried out, although $0.5 million was spent only to save a little the Trinity church inside the castle.
