We went to Sevastopol to visit the nearby attractions - Cape Fiolent, Inkerman, and Balaklava. In the city we walked along the central streets and the waterfront. We also visited the waterpark.
The city itself is very nice, with beautiful architecture. For fans of military equipment it's a paradise (the Russian Black sea fleet is located in Sevastopol). The city can serve as a base for exploring the nearby part of Crimea.
Sevastopol is located on a large area, the main transport for moving around are taxis, trolleybuses and minibuses. Unfortunately, it took us a long time to move around the city, so some places were left unvisited.
We didn't visit the Chersonesus (antic ruins), Panorama and Diorama (unusual museums). So we'll come here again.
Getting there: By airplane or by train from Kyiv. However, it takes a lot of time to get there by train, so better book a flight to Simferopol.
