Cape Fiolent is one of the most beautiful places in Ukraine. As Kara Dag, Fiolent is an extinct volcano that acted 150 million years ago. It's a perfect place for lovers of the sea and beautiful scenery. To get to the sea from the road, you need to go through the yards of private houses.
At Fiolent you can visit one of the best beaches in the Crimea, Yashmoviy Pliazh (Jasper Beach). Because of its inaccessibility the water is very clear. Even during a high season there are always free places for the rest.
The descent to the beach is quite difficult: 800 steps, named by locals "a path of health". So before you go down, think about that you will also need to return up. The steps are located near the walls of St. George Monastery.

Getting there: From Sevastopol take trolleybuses ##2, 12, 13, 17, 20 to the endpoint "Pyatyj Kilomentr" ("Fifth Kilometer"), then take a minibus to Fiolent. Buses ##19 and 72 from the Central Department Store in Sevastopol go directly to Fiolent.
