Grindelwald - First

The Grindelwald-First cable car brings you to the mountain First (2168 m), which offer beautiful views of the Swiss classics - the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau mountains.










In addition to the beautiful views, there is a 800-meter zip-line First Flyer and a First Cliff Walk - trail above the abyss. In China, such trails are almost on every mountain, but in Europe they are rare.




Right next to the top cable car station there is a hotel Berggasthaus First (booking.com), where we spent the night. The price of 200 euros, considering the location, is bearable. Dinner and breakfast included.




Initially, we planned to leave the hotel the next morning and walk along the Eiger Ultra Trail trail from First through Berghotel Faulhorn to Schynige Platte. But, as it turned out, at the end of May there was snow everywhere and it was unreal to walk along the trail. Therefore, we walked to the Bachalpsee lake, this is about a fifth part of the entire trail.










In the end of May the lake was completely frozen.
