A natural attraction on the island of Fuerteventura. It's worth saying that we didn't go down to the caves themselves as we were with a small child, but the area itself and the path along the sea are worth a visit. You can see
a beautiful photo of the cave at this link.
The caves are considered the oldest natural formation on the island and are important in the scientific world. They were formed 100 million years ago during the Cretaceous period, when lava flows and sediments rose from a depth of 3000 metres and formed the base of the island.
