Sognefjord is the largest fjord in Europe and the second longest fjord in the world (204 km). Due to its size pleasure boats work only in its separate parts. Only few speedboats pass all the fjord from Flam to Bergen. We used the ferry on Naeroyfjord, which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Possible cruises on the Sognefjord:
Sognefjord
Bergen - Sogn - Flåm - Bergen (information), speedboat, summer route
Bergen - Sogn - Bergen (information), speedboat, winter route
Naeroyfjord - one of the arms of the Sognefjord in the southern part
Flåm - Gudvangen - Flåm (information), we sailed from Gudvangen to Flåm.
Gudvangen - Kaupanger - Gudvangen (information), car ferry, the most beautiful ferry route in Norway
Schedule and information about these ferries can be downloaded here as PDF.
Fjærlandfjord - one of the arms of the Sognefjord in the northern part
