The main reason to come here as a tourist is to see the wooden architecture, it's really worth attention.
We left the train on the stop Dzintari and at first walked to the Holiday complex of Kristaps and Augusta Morberg (av. Dzintaru, 52/54, http://www.morbergavasarnica.lv/eng/). It's an interesting castle made of wood.
And then went along the beach in the direction of the station Majori. Near the concert hall Dzintari we turned into pedestrian street Jomas and continue along it. This is the main tourist street in Jurmala.
Getting there: by train from Riga to the station Majori (center) or Dzintari. 30 minutes to go, ticket price 2 euros.
