This is a melodrama with a rather interesting plot. An American journalist visiting Italy walked into Juliet's courtyard in Verona and saw a woman tearing letters from tourists off the wall. Following this woman, she met Juliet's secretaries, who answer these letters and who, by the way, exist in reality.
Staying with them, she responded to one letter from 50 years ago. The letter, surprisingly, reached its addressee in London, who immediately rushed to Italy with her grandson to find her old love. They know only his name, Lorenzo Bartolini, and that he lives in Tuscany. The three of them, decide to visit every Lorenzo Bartolini in the region, and there are at least a hundred of them.
So the film is not only a melodrama, but a road movie, which makes it much more interesting, as there is a lot of beautiful Tuscan scenery. One of those places we found on a trip through the Chianti region. You can stop here for a little picnic, as the characters in the movie did.
