The park appeared at the end of the 18th century and since then has been privately owned by the family of Count von Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff, though in Germany private parks are usually opened to the public. From April to October, admission is charged, but in March we walked for free.
In the middle of the park is a spa hotel with an outdoor pool. And all around there are spas, the town is a spa with mineral waters.
The park has a labyrinth and a playground.
In the previous photo, we noticed some structure on the mountain and decided to go there as well (parking lot 51.729007, 9.002454). There we found the ruins of Iburg Castle, a restaurant, and an observation deck.
Getting there: parking 51.735478, 9.028736. There is a train station Bad Driburg next to the park.
