One of Germany's most famous bridges, which can often be seen on Instagram. In reality, it is not even a real bridge, but an art object located in the middle of a rhododendron park.

The bridge is in an emergency condition, so it is impossible to walk on it. Because of the threat of collapse, a complete reconstruction was carried out in 2018-2021.

It was built in 1866-1875 by the landowner Herrmann Friedrich Roetschke. In addition to the bridge, you can walk around the lake and see some other art objects, in particular a grotto and a basalt organ.

The bridge can be seen in several films, the most famous of which is The Matrix Resurrections (2021).

Getting there: paid parking lot 51.537435, 14.637395, from there 150 meters to the lake with the bridge. By public transport take the train to Weißwasser, then bus 257 to Kromlau.
