There are several places that worth a visit in Skala-Podolska. The main object - ruins of the castle (1538). During the XVI-XVII centuries it was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. In the middle of the XVIII century was reconstructed with the restructuring of the palace. And in the XIX century completely destroyed. Powder Tower and and some parts of the palace are preserved, the walls almost did not survive. The castle ruins are part of the national reserve "Castles of Ternopil", therefore it is possible to buy souvenirs, brochures and magnets on the territory.
The castle is situated on a rock in a picturesque place. From the bus stop go down the street of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, about 1 km.
Another point of interest is located at the entrance of the city from the side of Kamianets-Podilskyi. This is the usual Soviet apartment building, which was turned into a castle.
At 200 meters from the bus stop is quite a large park, founded in the XVIII century - a monument of landscape art of national importance. In the park there is preserved wing of the manor which belonged to Polish count Goluchowski, now here is the polyclinic.
And here is also a lot of cats :)
Getting to Skala-Podolska: By bus from Kamianets-Podilskyi (about 15 times a day), travel time is about an hour.
