Manyavsky Falls is one of the highest in Ukraine. It drops water from the height of the 18 meters, but this is not the most important thing. This is one of the "ideal" waterfalls for tourists, and there are no similar ones in the country. The place is really beautiful.
The waterfall is located in the canyon and very photogenic. And you can go even to the top, just turn left and up near the information plate. In the canyon near the waterfall is pretty cool, even on a hot summer day.
It is not easy to get to the waterfall. Even if you drive an off-road vehicle, in any case you have to walk more then 1 kilometer along the riverbed. During our visit the water was high and several times we crossed the water without shoes. Consider this fact, for example you can take the rubber boots. The path to the waterfall is picturesque with granite walls up to 20 meters high.
There are signs to the waterfall from the center of the village Manyava.
Getting there: The village Manyava can be reached by bus from Ivano-Frankivsk (bus station on the Mazepa street) at 8:55, 13:00, 14:40, 17:00 and from village Bogorodchany at 7:30, 9:20, 13:30 , 15:10, 17:30. Manyava has one main road, walk along it, the river will be to the left. Also you can ask locals for directions (ask for "vodospad"). The distance from the center of the village is about 5 km, which is quite a lot. If you drive a car go over the dirt road until barrier. Leave your car there and continue on foot.
